Established in 2018, Bluewater Big Band is a collaboration of local musicians, teachers and music hobbyists who share a passion for Jazz and Big Band music, and an interest in promoting and enhancing the Arts culture within the local Mackay community.

Bluewater Big Band perform regularly at local events, host their own events and open rehearsals, and perform each December at the 4MK Carols in the City.
